About Brandt's Harley-Davidson®
The Harley-Davidson® legacy and tradition is unmatched by any other brand in the industry. The same legacy and tradition is resonated by the Brandt name. Established in 1949, Waldo Brandt instilled an exceptional level of customer service and attention to detail, that stands apart from any other dealership in the nation. Waldo was tried and true American-made, serving in the Air Force in World War II. He had an immense passion for the Harley-Davidson® brand and was also a skilled and talented mechanic. He knew motorcycles from the inside out, and there wasn't a day that you didn't find him wrenching alongside his techs in the Service Department. He loved to work, day and day out. Waldo passed away in 1988, but his memory is far from forgotten. Following closely in his father's footsteps, Mike Brandt is the sole owner of both Brandt's Harley-Davidson®, and carries on the Brandt traditions to this day.
Although the Harley-Davidson® brand has come a long, long way since 1949, the Brandt family holds on to the legacies left from both Waldo, and his late son, Steve Brandt. Steve was the eldest of the three sons of Waldo & Dorothy Brandt, and was a part of the business from the early days of his childhood, right up until his unfortunate passing in July of 2010. Steve had a personality and generosity, unlike anyone you've ever met. Whether you were a perfect stranger or an old friend, Steve enjoyed a great conversation, and of course, a great cigar. He was an incredibly charitable man, was actively involved in many community projects, and was more than willing to go the extra mile to help people out in any way he could. Steve had a great passion for life and an absolute love for Harley-Davidson®, and that radiated in everything he did. From free customer appreciation concerts, to charity golf outings, Steve was always looking to give back, and share his enthusiasm with everyone that crossed his path.
Both Waldo and Steve have left behind countless achievements and memories over the years, and we are fortunate to have them as a celebrated part of our history.

Mike has gained much notoriety among his peers in the industry for both his mechanical skill as well as the great success of Brandt's Harley-Davidson®. Mike is the sole owner both the Wabash and the Marion dealerships and is very proud to carry on the Brandt family business that began in 1949. He has lead the Wabash dealership to a prestigious Gold Bar & Shield Award in 2008, 2009, & 2010 and a Platinum Award at the I-69 dealership in 2014. He has seen the Harley-Davidson® Company grow exponentially over his 45+ years of experience and knows motorcycles inside and out. Mike is also a talented bike builder and has created some amazing bikes over the years. He enjoys kicking back with his other half, Leila, and his grandchildren, Tyler, Kirstyn, Emmett & Carson. A few years ago, Mike also opened a beautiful golf course, The Waldo, named after his father. If Mike isn't turning wrenches, chances are you'll find him unwinding out on the course.

John started in sales in 1999, and has been at Brandt's since 2014. When he's not helping others change their lives and making their dreams come true by buying a Harley, he's riding his 2016 Road Glide® Special. His soulmate of over 15 years, Tammy, and her son, Matthew, along with his daughter, Andrea, enjoy vacationing in Myrtle Beach. John also enjoys taking care of his freshwater discus tank.

Jason is a graduate of MMI in Orlando, Florida and started working at Brandt's Harley-Davidson® in 2005. He has achieved the "Master of tTechnology" status, and is our dyno tuning expert, having completed Harley®'s Screamin' Eagle® advanced tuning class in Milwaukee. He also tunes trikes with one of the midwest's only trike compatible dynos! This guy knows performance inside and out. If you want your bike to run it's absolute best...don't trust it to anyone else. Outside of the shop, he's always busy with his wife and three sons enjoying life!

Matt graduated high school from Lewis Cass in Walton, Indiana. He is an excellent technician is known for his attention to detail, and making sure everything is done right. He is also our vintage bike expert and enjoys the old bike projects. Matt enjoys riding a 1991 XL, playing pool, and hanging with his awesome kiddos when he's away from the shop. Paul has a son, Joshua, and two grandchildren, Hannah and Matthew. He is an avid Ham radio enthusiast and holds a general class license, and also dabbles in photography as a hobby.
